I've been listening to a lot of Robedoor's Rancor Keeper (2007) recently. I like it better than what I've heard from similar drone-doom bands, like Earth or Sunn O))). One of this duo/trio is dating/married to one of the current/former members of Pocahaunted, who are queens of tribal-dub-psych-drone.
They released a split-double, called Hunted Gathering (2007). It's got some great material, and the bands' affinity of sounds mixed with the sonic male/female aspect brings a complementary unity to the whole gig. Listen to it there and/or read this!
